And then there’s the rooftop… yeah, it’s a bit of a show-off. Panoramic mountain views, cold drinks in hand, and that crisp alpine air – it’s the kind of place you come for one and accidentally stay for five. Whether it’s sunshine or sunset, it’s freaking beautiful up there, and we’re not even pretending to be chill about it.

Looking for something a little more low-key (but still a good time)? Our semi-private space hits the sweet spot, just enough privacy to keep it cozy, with all the buzz of the pub still in reach. Perfect for catching up, raising a glass, and letting the night do its thing.
40–100 Guests
Ready to turn things up a notch? Our private pool room is where the real fun begins. Think your own bar, a little friendly competition, and zero need to share your space with strangers. It’s laid-back, a little rowdy (in the best way), and built for a proper night out.
Full Buyout
Go big or go home. Take over the whole pub and make it your mountain playground. With a live music stage, plenty of room to roam, and that signature Rose & Crown energy, this is how you throw a party people actually remember. From corporate shindigs to weddings to “just because,” we’ve got the vibe…and we’re not afraid to use it.

The Rose & Crown rooftop patio offers one of the best views in Banff, with sweeping mountain scenery and an open-air setting that instantly elevates any gathering. It’s the perfect space for summer parties, casual celebrations, and private events that call for something a little more memorable.
With a mix of seating, standing room, and a built-in social atmosphere, the rooftop is ideal for everything from relaxed afternoon get-togethers to high-energy evening events.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation timelines vary depending on group size and booking type:
- Groups of 40+ guests with pre-selected menus: 14 days’ notice
- Groups of 40+ guests without pre-selected menus (drinks-focused events): 7 days’ notice
- Groups of 20–40 guests: 3 days’ notice
- Pool Room bookings: 7 days’ notice
We recommend confirming final details as early as possible to avoid any fees.
Can we reserve the rooftop patio?
Rooftop patio reservations are available with a minimum spend requirement.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
At this time, The Rose & Crown is not wheelchair accessible.
Our space includes stairs and does not have elevator access.
Are dogs allowed on the patio?
At this time, dogs are not permitted on the patio.
What time is the kitchen open until?
Our kitchen serves until 11:00 PM.
Do you have a lost & found?
Yes — we do.

Can we make a reservation for large groups?
For groups of 1–10 guests, there’s no need to call ahead — we welcome walk-ins or Reserve on OpenTable – link to Reservations.
For groups of 11+ please contact our Events Manager in advance so we can arrange seating, menus and ensure the best experience.
Are minors allowed?
Minors are welcome until 9:30 PM daily.
